Dr GOH Chye Tee is Director of NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic and Director of Biomedical Sciences/Chinese Medicine Program at the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Prior to these appointments, he was an accounting professor at the Nanyang Business School and Director of Centre for Continuing Education at the University.

Dr Goh began his traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pursuit in the midst of his career at the Nanyang Business School. After obtaining his TCM qualifications at the Singapore TCM College and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China, he provided free consultations to a community clinic for 15 years and was awarded Certificate of Merit for his meritorious services as a volunteer physician. He also served as a member of the Accreditation Committee and an examiner at the Singapore TCM Practitioners Board in the Ministry of Health, Singapore. Dr. Raphael Nyarkotey Obu, PhD(A.M) is a research Professor of Prostate Cancer and Alternative Medicine at Da Vinci College of Holistic Medicine, Larnaca city, Cyprus. He is the Vice Chancellor and Founder of the Nyarkotey College of Holistic Medicine, Tema Community 7, Post Office, Ghana. He got his PhD degree from the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine Academy, Kolkata, India. He had his postdoc training at Da Vinci College of Holistic Medicine, Larnaca city, Cyprus under Dr. George Georgiou with research on Hibiscus sabdarrifa and its effectiveness on prostate health and published three important research papers on the Hibiscus Sabdariffa. After holding a research scientist position in Cleveland for 7 years, she was recruited to the Biochemistry Department in University of Missouri. As an internationally renowned neuroscientist, Dr. Sun is recognized for her research on brain lipids and signaling pathways in relation to neurodegenerative diseases and aging.

Her research experience included serving as director of the MU Alzheimer’s disease research program, and project leader in the MU Center for Phytonutrient and Phytochemistry.

Zhou is presently a Professor, Associate Vice President of Global Medical Development, Associate Dean of International Research, and Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy & Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida 33612. Professor Zhou completed his clinical medical training in China in 1989 and obtained his PhD in 2001 from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand. He continued his postdoctoral training at the University of Auckland until November 2002. Since 2002, Dr Zhou has served as a faculty member for the National University of Singapore, Queensland University of Technology (Australia), RMIT University (Australia), and now University of South Florida. Dr Zhou’s major research interests are drug discovery/systems pharmacology, drug metabolism/drug transport & pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenomics/pharmacogenetics, nanomedicine and Chinese medicine. Professor Zhou has published more than 330 peer-reviewed papers in various pharmacology and medical journals including New England Journal of Medicine, Cancer Research, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Carcinogenesis, JPET, Drug Metabolism & Disposition, and Clinical Cancer Research. He has also published 16 books and book chapters and more than 310 conference abstracts. His work has been cited more than 8,600 times by other colleagues with a H-index of 46. He has received more than US$22.0 million grants from various funding bodies and industries. To date, he has trained 24 PhD students, 12 MSc/Honors students, 14 postdoctoral fellows and 25 visiting faculty. John Howard completed his degree in acupuncture from the Maryland Institute of Traditional Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. John holds two professorships; one in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the other in Western Medicine from George Washington University (GWU). Professor (Prof) Howard lectured on suturing and minor trauma management. Upon completion of his degree Prof Howard entered into a five-year fellowship with the US military under the direction of Dr. Richard Niemtzow, MD, PHD. Prof Howard is both a clinician and an academician. As an academician, he provides international lectures in acupuncture and auriculotherapy. He has authored five books and 21 articles on these two fields. He is also dedicated to the promotion of knowledge and has been awarded the dissemination of seminal works of Dr. Raphael Nogier (The RAFT (Radial Artery Food Test)) and of Dr. René Bourdiol (Elements of Auriculotherapy). In 2014 Prof Howard served as the vice president of the 8th International Symposium of Auriculotherapy in the United States. In 2016 Prof Howard became a consultant for ZeroMed (a holistic medical goods company) to design auriculotherapy protocols.
